Opening the Gift of Loss

This workshop will focus on the many types of losses in the human experience -- death, separation from family and friends, divorce, broken dreams and failing health, as well as those losses that are known only in the privacy of your heart. These are often painful but powerfully transformative periods of life. Methods: Experiential exercises, guided meditations, metaphor and art-process will be used. This is a public workshop - anyone is welcome to attend.

Workshops provide people with an opportunity to come together in community to understand and express themselves. In Los Angeles, it is especially important to participate in these bonding activities regularly to remedy the isolation a large city creates. The healing energy the group environment provides is a powerful force in individual growth.

Since 2001, Julie has presented a variety of workshops for the public as well as for her professional colleagues. Wellness retreat workshops can be created specifically for your group or organization.
